Our parish nurse is Barbara Nimmo an experienced registered nurse whose knowledge is
supported by a specialist parish nurse education programme
to provide whole person healthcare to the congregation and local community.
Professional standards are strictly adhered to under the Nursing
and midwifery councils code of conduct.

nursing and my faith in the service of God was one I could not refuse. My nursing has
value because of my Christian faith and has underpinned my whole nursing career.”
It is a free service for people of any faith or none. However, Parish Nursing is rooted in
the Christian understanding of health and wholeness.
Support and a listening ear.
Help you understand your disease or condition.
Offer blood pressure and/or blood sugar checks.
Provide education on your medicines.
Refer you on to your GP and/or other health care professionals as appropriate.
Act as an advocate at doctor or consultant appointments.
Help to clarify health issues.
Encouragement to follow a healthy lifestyle.
All ages are welcome for support and advice.
Tuesday Drop In Coffee Mornings
Barbara is available for a consultation on a Tuesday morning between 10 - 11:30am. All other times and places by arrangement.
If you have any concerns or questions regarding health or you need your blood pressure taken, then why not drop into our coffee morning
Surgery on a Tuesday morning between 10.00 am and 11.30 am at Bottesford Baptist Church, where you will receive a warm welcome.
