Joshua's Story

My name is Joshua. I was born in a Christian family. I’ve always loved God all my life but when I was eight I became a Christian. I was on a Christian camping holiday kind of thing and my dad ran one of the children’s groups there called ‘bible detectives’.

It was towards the end of the holiday and my dad gave everyone in the group a questionnaire to fill in. One of the questions that really got me was, ‘What would you like to learn more about in the next bible detectives?’ I thought for a while and wrote down ‘becoming a Christian.’ I showed my mum and she said, “Show your dad!” So I went out and found him outside the caravan. I showed him, I prayed and became a Christian. Since then I have been strong for Jesus and will live for him for the rest of my life.
